About the contest
There is probably no time of the year more beautiful than spring. When the winter disappears, the sunshine gets warm and nature shows new life. In this time we make Münster the center of the international world of dolls.
The name Amalia has its roots in the meaning „the proficient one“. And what would be a better word to describe doll makers? We want to award the proficiency and creativity of doll artists.
And we are very curious about how artists interpret the topic „We are Family!“. We’d like to invite you to take part in the competition for Amalia, the vitreous award of Spring DOLL Festival.
There are no restrictions. You are free in choosing materials. It only has to be single exhibits or dioramas (50×50 centimeters maximum).
All entries will be presented in a special exhibition during the Spring DOLL festival in Münster. An international jury with 5 experts in doll making will appraise all works and award the five most outstanding exhibits.
The price giving will take place on Sunday, 30th of April, 2pm in the exhibition hall.
Closing date is 15th of April 2017. The exhibits have to be in the exhibition hall until 5pm on Friday, 28th of April. The participation costs 29 Euro. If you apply until 30th of November 2016, the registration fee is only 21 Euro for early birds.
We are looking forward to your participation.
